Midway - Travel,Accomodations and Meals

Seven day trips are the norm, but longer trips can be scheduled and 3 & 4 day trips are also available for selected dates.   We can customize your trips to include inshore, lagoon, and offshore fishing, or you can go on overnighters to other islands such as Kure Atoll, Pearl and Hermes Reef, or the seamounts. Night trips for Broadbill and Bluefin Tuna can also be scheduled, and we can also add in diving, natural history tours which provide the unique opportunity to see the rare Hawaiian Monk Seal, or if you want, you can just sit on a secluded, breathtaking beach and watch the flight of the amazing Laysan Albatross. Call or email for sample itineraries and imagine yourself fishing and relaxing in one of the most remote places on earth!

Midway is serviced once a week on Saturdays and also on Wednesdays once a month during May thru September via Aloha airlines jets. The flight is two and a half hours long and departs and returns from/to Honolulu. Sportfish Hawaii also works with a few local travel agents that are specialists in servicing these islands, so we can even arrange your trip from home to and from Hawaii, your accommodations while visiting Hawaii, and even get you out on another fine charter boat here in the islands if you are so inclined!
The one and two room suites have been converted to hotel room standards and have air conditioning and cable TV. Dining options include the Clipper House French Restaurant which overlooks the famous Midway lagoon, the nicely renovated Navy cafeteria, The Galley, and to satisfy those late night urges of fast food, The All Hands Club.  Meals are purchased on the island and are priced at $8 breakfast, $10 lunch, $12 dinner at the Galley and $10 breakfast, $35 dinner at the Clipper House.
